About the Book
Before the age of eight, something was done to me. I don't know all of it yet. What I do know is that I have no memory of those years — not a fragment, not a face, not a single morning. What I have instead are the echoes: abilities I was never supposed to keep, and a silence that was imposed rather than chosen.
Paranormalities is the book I was told not to write. Part memoir, part myth — it crosses the boundary between what happened and what was made to be forgotten.
